I thought it was interesting to contrast the findings for the survey from the findings with the in-depth interviews. I think sometimes with surveys, you can get people at their most idealistic kind of viewpoints, so how they maybe view themselves. But through that dialog in the interview you really captured their kind of decision-making process and different points at which implicit bias could influence a decision. So I thought that was a really strong study and really important for people, clinicians and others to really understand how implicit bias can kind of creep into decision-making, and how it can have an important impact on outcomes."
