We have special symposium about this anniversary. It's 25 years after the publication of this trial. You know, this IV thrombolysis continues to be the backbone of acute ischemic stroke care. There are a lot of questions about the efficacy of thrombolysis in situations outside the scope of that original trial. So in this symposium, we go little bit of, within the history, but then we try to review other aspects of tPA out of the context of that original trial. So in this session we have different speakers. We have Pat Lyden, that is actually talking about the story from the bench to the bedside. Basically, historically how tPA went from research, basic research, all the way to the clinic. And then we get into how we have moved forward since the days of that trial. Henry Ma is gonna be talking about thrombolysis in the extended time window. It is a new avenue of research. Negar Asdaghi from University of Miami will be talking about thrombolysis in patients with minor or non-disabling symptoms. Andrew Demchuk is going to be talking about thrombolysis in the setting of relative contraindications. And finally, we're going to have Cheryl Bushnell talking about thrombolysis in women with acute stroke."
